Brackish began with a simple idea: build things the right way. Every table, cabinet, ceiling detail, and feature wall is made by hand with care and precision. We don’t rush the process or rely on mass production. Everything is designed and built here in Jacksonville by craftsmen who take pride in the finished piece.

If it’s going in your home, we build it like it’s going in ours. Honestly, that's how this started- we ran out of space at home for new projects! Now, instead of filling our own walls, we’re helping homeowners all over Northeast Florida bring their ideas to life with work that’s made to last and built to be noticed.

Dave is the Lead Craftsman and Founder of Brackish Custom Services. With decades of experience in woodworking, home remodeling, and making sawdust appear in places it shouldn’t, he’s built everything from custom cabinets to one-of-a-kind furniture and accents. After a decade of shaping young minds as a local teacher, he decided to shape wood for his neighbors instead.

When he’s not wrangling a sander or convincing a stubborn piece of wood to cooperate, you’ll find him out on the boat chasing fish, beach cruising with his amazing wife, Vanessa, or having yet another deep conversation with his two dogs (a.k.a. the Quality Control Team).
